so chalmers johson.  funny, insightful, alarmist.  his lecture was really interesting.  i guess debbie, et al will be making a paper or something about it.  she has his paper that he read at the lecture.  im reading blowback its really interesting.  the whole chapter on okinawa really opened my eyes.  it was sad though, because there weren't that many people in attendance.  as a matter of fact there were probably only 50-60 people there, in a room that could hold 250.  but yeah, it was really interesting.  you should read blowback if you get a chance....
